Success for LIFE is designed to transition English language learners into more advanced speakers capable of completing college level coursework and achieving their professional goals.
This course is for ESOL students already possessing high-intermediate to advanced-level proficiency.
Course Details
Success for LIFE is taught as a three-semester series of courses, each building upon the skills achieved in the prior course:
- Semester I: Grammar review, beginning writing, reading and listening comprehension
- Semester II: Goal setting and introduction to American literature
- Semester III: Preparing for and achieving academic and professional goals

The next Success for LIFE course will begin on October 6th, 2009. An Application form for the Success for Life class is available here.
Note: A pre-Success for LIFE class will be offered from September 8 – 24th, 2009. The Preparation for the Success for LIFE is for adults who are interested in entering the Success for Life course but need a review of grammar and writing necessary to pass the entrance and placement evaluation criteria.
