For nearly 40 years, La Alianza Hispana's Education and Workforce programs have been playing a vital role in creating and enhancing the economic opportunities for thousands of Boston area Latinos.
Mastering the English language is the key to success in the United States. Our Center for Success helps adult English language learners to jumpstart their journey towards success through language acquisition and cultural adaptation. Our Success series are designed to help student set and achieve personal and career goals that support life-long personal and economic accomplishment.
La Alianza Hispana takes a family-based approach to helping the Latino community acquire English language skills. Our Center for Success also has a unique model for helping younger English-language learners to gain literacy skills. The La Alianza Hispana After School program helps English language learners at the Lilla G. Frederick pilot middle school in Dorchester to get a jumpstart on their academic journey.
Currently, we offer focused education and training both from our Education and Workforce Center for Success, located at 409 Dudley Street in Roxbury and at select off-site employer and educational facilities.
Programs available at the La Alianza Hispana’s on-site Education and Workforce Center for Success include:
Programs located off-site at partner locations include:
