La Alianza Hispana’s An afternoon with the stars! event is a free community celebration featuring family-friendly entertainment, a showcase of community resources, food and live music. Last year’s event was attended by over 350 community members and raised over $40K from corporate sponsors. This year we will have a great show called “The Lip Sync Battle” which is a concept based on the famous TV show created by Stephen Merchant and John Krasinski, in which celebrities battle each other with lip sync performances. For our event we will host our local celebrities; people that have been working for the Latino Community for many years.
